| Summary: | In this article, we will research the idea of soul, as artistically expressed through the metaphor of light, as it appears in the work “Livia y los sueños”. In order to understand this idea, we will base our inquiry on Maria Zambrano’s philosophic postulates related to her conceptions of soul, human being, and destiny. We will also address the conceptions of time and space contained in Gardea’s work, and how both space and time integrate a specific chronotope as a foundation where the idea of soul can unfold in all its fullness. |
