Description
Summary:The objective of this article is to determine the leadership style of condominium administrators from a sector of the central western part of the city of Bogotá to characterize this style. This mixed-method study used two types of instruments: an interview and the multifactorial leadership questionnaire (MLQ). Subjected to a factor analysis, found to be apt and with positive results at Cronbach's Alpha minimum of 0.728 and KMO minimum of 0.757. The central hypothesis refers to the fact that consulted population displays a transformational leadership style. It was found that four of the six transformational leadership components obtained high levels and the leadership style is supported by motivation, people development, orientation, and employee reward. It is highlighted that formal organizational planning processes are an opportunity to strengthen the leadership style of the population studied.
