Description
Résumé:The increase in various threats and risks to international supply chains has led to greater corporate responsibility towards their respective Governments to secure the supply chain. The OAS certification aims to provide fluid access to trade, speeding up customs procedures and help achieve an integrated international supply chain. The purpose of this research was to deepen the knowledge of the OAS certification process in a transport company on the Juárez-El Paso border. For its development, the qualitative approach was chosen, through 13 semi-structured interviews aimed at the company's staff, which were analyzed thematically for a grounded theory design. The results highlight the need to strengthen the safety culture of employees and training on the OAS program at the operational level. Trade facilitation and mutual recognition stand out as advantages.
